The Paasche AB Turbo Airbrush from the mid-‚80s. It is one of several airbrushes they used in the field of art, medical and book illustration to create intricately detailed artwork.
The Paasche AB Turbo Airbrush is somewhat legendary, mainly for its ability to render incredibly fine detail – you can paint a line as thin as a pencil line when the brush is well-tuned. And it can be tuned to create spatters in a fine, middle or rough pattern. But it's also legendary because you have to spend time tuning it! It really does take a fair amount of time to learn about the brush and all the settings – it's something of a steam-punk design.
